Medgate Day Clinic is an established Day Surgical Centre located on the West Rand in Gauteng. We have 18 beds and 3 fully equipped operating theatres. Our qualified staff have many years of experience, and each patient is treated with individualised special care.

Patients are admitted early in the morning for any procedure of a nature that will allow them to go home on the same day, obviating the need for an overnight stay. The Clinic is not dedicated to cosmetic surgery only as a large range of procedures are performed by dentists, general practitioners and various surgical specialists.

Those coming for any cosmetic procedure are especially grateful for the discretion excercised by the staff. Cosmetic procedures are almost always a very personal and confidential decision, the patient wishes to be treated with the utmost discretion and even anonymity. The personnel are well seasoned in satisfying your requirements in this regard. Our Clinic is further ideal as there is never a crowd of people as often experienced at large hospitals, and invariably the cosmetic patients are alone in a room. Timing is also of importance as our admissions are staggered to allow only the time necessary for the pre-operation chores to be done. Patients are wheeled into the operating theatre without extended waiting periods.

After the operation you are relocated to the recovery area and once the doctor is satisfied with your clinical condition, you return to your bed for a well earned sleep. When the patients wake up again, they are checked by the nursing personnel, and if clinically fit, they can leave, obviously not on their own as nobody is allowed to drive after any form of anaesthetic.
